Arundel

The town of Arundel is dominated by the gothic Cathedral and Arundel Castle, home of the Dukes of Norfolk.  The castle is the second largest caste in England with a host of priceless works of art to discover.  Close by the quaint town, with its Georgian and Victorian architecture, is well known for its antique shops and contemporary art galleries nestled amongst an array of independent shops, cafes and restaurants.  A short walk from the town centre is the River Arun and the Arundel Wetland centre.

Bognor Regis

Bognor Regis is a traditional seaside town with a popular pebble beach, long promenade, seafront bars and restaurants, and many rides and amusements.  Bognor Regis has a lively night scene with several nightclubs, live music and plenty of traditional pubs.  The town also has many shops and attractions from department stores to the regular open air market to keep visitors occupied when the sun isn’t shining, although Bognor Regis is known for being one of the highest sunshine hours in the UK.

Chichester

The city of Chichester is well known for its stunning cathedral and cloisters with its unique works of art.  Around Chichester there is plenty of historical and cultural highlights including the Roman walls, the Tudor Market Cross and the well known Pallant House Gallery.  The city is a bustling mix of boutique shops, cafes, restaurants and gastro pubs and its a great place for a days shopping.  The arts scene is very dominant with the Chichester Festival Theatre offering a varied programme of music and arts throughout the year.  Chichester makes an excellent base to visit the many interesting places nearby including the Goodwood estate, the Roman Palace at Fishbourne and the historic village of Bosham.

Horsham

Horsham is a thriving market town with its streets full of history and character as well as an interesting mix of independent shops, cafes and restaurants.  Horsham boasts markets on both Saturdays and Thurdays and also hosts a popular food festival.  Horsham provides a great base to explore the many villages around the northern part of the county of Sussex.
